My Surge has rub marks on the pliers as well  :facepalm:

Just gives it that sort of personal touch ...just to “stand out from the crowd”

Anyway, my coating is also starting to wear on the bottom of the handles....not that mine is a show piece, it is bought to be used, but still, the coating just doesn’t seem much tougher than if it was painted

But either way, I love my Surge, I’d say it is the best MT I have had so far

BO is really only meant to keep something from rusting anyways :salute: it is actually a type of controlled rust :D Some of mine have the rub marks as well but after a while the tool gets a nice worn look and I like that look :like:

The SS cutter swap is a good way to be able to tell yours apart from anyone else that may have one as well :cheers:
