Neil's latest shipment came in today.
on: August 19, 2010, 03:13:27 AM
I was able to take photos of 3 of the 4 knives. My camera ran out of batteries, and it takes a little time to recharge them again. So photos of the Vic camo bantam will have to wait for a later date.

One of my favorite patterns…and I am unsure what that says about me…with it being all flowery and all, but the photographs do it no justice. I liked it so much I bought another one that shall remain in its packaging.

A Wenger Seafarer.

A Wenger SIG STG90. I did not know these came in green. Live and learn.

me likes the green SIG STG-90.

I have a black one.

I think the one I saw that came with the SIG 550 (semi auto only STG-90) for sale 10 years ago was black, could be red....but pretty sure it was black.

Like that Seafarer
Rest is not idleness,
and to lie sometimes on the grass under trees on a summer's day,
listening to the murmur of the water, or watching the clouds float across the sky,
is by no means a waste of time

What do the symbols on the SIG STG90 mean?
Thanks

Those symbols tell the user which way to turn the drivers when adjusting the front or rear sights on the SIG Sturmgewhr-90/STG-90 assault rifle, the issue weapon for the Swiss Army.   Really, I think the knife is made for those that bought the semi-auto only SGT-90, the SIG-550, because it came with the rifle when sold in the USA prior to the import rifle ban in 1989.  The knives are still sold in Switzerland (mine came direct from Switzerland earlier this year) because all Swiss males are reserve members of the Swiss Army, and keep their STG-90's at home.   I need to find that pic on the gun forum I frequent, that shows a group of Swiss shooting their: K-31, STG-57, and STG-90 rifles at a range.

That is pretty darn cool!  Thanks!

I sort of figured it out somewhat based on the L and R. I just assumed it meant Left and Right. The other side would be in some other language. It is good to get a confirmation on a guess though.  :salute:
