IRC channel

Would anyone be interested in joining a MT.org IRC channel if I set one up?

On the top menu click "CHAT", but nobody really use it. Before that there's an build in one that was decently popular but caused forum instability.

Technically, we already have one over on irc.serenia.net... or is it .org?  The chatroom is MT.O, though I no longer use it, myself.  It may still be registered.

That's the one the chat on the link goes to (online IRC client). I was in there yesterday, WHoey was there and some weirdo poped in for 1 minute asking if anyone was alive then left. In the IRC world, staying for 1 minute is like ringing the doorbell and running away

Its a shame it didn't workout I liked the built in one. Hope it will return, would really help members better know each other.

Yeah the built in one was superior in some ways, but the old server didn't handle it well, and it did have some nasty bugs.

The current setup seems to work randomly for some users, but you can access it with an IRC client (which I find handy to idle in there)
