Where do I find...

I did a little searching but it is such a vague question that I didn't come up with results.  Where do you guys get your brass pins, torx screws & nuts and the other little tidbits you need to create your masterpieces?  If a tool has nuts/bolts already , I can just reuse that, but what about if I want to mod something with a pin in it?  Any help would be appreciated
