...that way you could drill the SAK into the side of a tree and use the hook to hang things.
Hang your food up high so bears don't get it and when a bear does show up in the middle of the night and you scramble up the tree naked at least there will be a SAK up there waiting for you.
My logic is undeniable!

Why dont you use the can-opener as a hook?

Once dropped my keys into the manhole. Shoelace and the Spartans can-opener solved the problem...

As for hanging, people tend to use the hook as the attachment and then the T handle as a hanger.
