Is it that much slimmer than the ST200?  I handled one once and, like the PST, I wasn't enamored with the edges of the handles.  It works for me on the PST since it is a medium-duty tool, but I prefer more comfort on the big guys.

That pic is always a good reference  :D The Supertool 300 is the same thickness as the 200 if you don't have one of those

The thing about the Supertool handles is that they are made out of thicker sheet metal than the PST so they are a bit more comfortable to use :tu:

I've never realized a real benefit to the 300 over the 200.  A longer Phillips driver and replaceable wire cutters?  meh...and the Core was just silly...

Anyway,  I suppose I have an ST on the way.  Thanks so much Poncho...

Glad to be of help :hatsoff:

Really though it is a great MT and amazes me how much slimmer it is than any of the other in it's line

The 300 is just a little easier to unlock ;) I could go either way with the cutters TBH though :tu:

I always found that to be true as well. :)

Oh no, I'm not the worrying type.  ;)

I'm sure I'll love it and want more of them.  ;)  It is an early Leatherman, after all.  :multi:

aaaaand of course you fellas were right.  The ST is a great tool that didn't need to be "improved".

Now I guess I'll just have to sell off my ST200s.

It's pretty frickin' sweet. :dd:

The edges of the handles are a non-issue, and I prefer the simple locks over the ST200.  It's a good thing Benner isn't around much anymore.  He tried to tell me this years ago.
