Is it really as pink as it looks in the picture?  That seems like a bad move for a knockoff!

Yup a godly disgusting pink. But it is the exact same as the kershaw storm 2 right down to the holes and all the jimping on the handles and scales.

Of course it is... you don't expect a knockoff company to take an initiative, do you?  :grin:

This one actually surprised me though. It was a exact duplicate of the Ken Onion. I really dont get this, Why do the Feds allow this stuff to happen. I mean it is really a wicked copyright infringment the company importing them cannot deny. If ya think this is a victomless crime it isnt. ken Onion and kershaw really dont charge an arm and a leg for the original $29 bucks at wallmart, but this company charged this guy $15 for a cheap steel and crappy quality control on thie knowck off. 

I think if you dont mind Def I will link this to the other forum that Kershaw has. They have a great company rep named Thomas that might want to see this.

By all means...

You have to remember though that patent law is only applicable in places where people actually want to pay attention to it.  In many places, it's just a sheet of paper.  As for importing it to the US, I think that for the most part it's a simple matter of the Feds not knowing what is legit and what isn't until someone complains, or the infringed company points it out.  At that point there needs to be an investigation, lawsuit etc, and by the time all that's done, the offender has stopped importing them and long since switched to ripping someone else off.  Of course it also isn't the knockoff manufacturer that's to blame- there's always a guy on our side that is commissioning this kind of work to be done, and he is usually back in the Caymans or Brazil or merely changed his name or declared bankruptcy by the time any poop gets near the fan.

All in all, a very expensive proposition with very little results.
