I have a suggestion but it might be a bit far for people
I found out today it might be possible to set up camp at a club near to me
I have not approached anyone officially as I thought I will ask you lot first

They have an archery club so there should not be any problems using bows or setting up a target for throwing axes and knives  :viking:
There is a wooded area at one side
I'm sure we would be allowed a fire
Its a very quiet site with out many passers by
There's a social club on site so there is beer
I can make a few inquiries next week if there's any interest

Its not a million miles away from Bicester

I couldn't get multimap Bloody Bing to link straight to Bicester
so click on the link and type bicester in the space at the top

This place seems ideal to me for playing with knives and stuff but I understand if its too far
If any of the regulars want more details of the place PM me  :salute:

Stick it in google maps Tony, or just tell us the postcode :)

Having targets for throwing things at might be a lot of fun!

This looks fine to me as well.  TBH as long as site's aren't too far from a motorway it's all the same to me.  Google reckons this is about 6 hours from me, so perfectly reasonable.  Early start, a couple of stops and no getting lost and I'd be down at a respectable time in the afternoon.

As ever I know a few nice spots in Scotland if everyone's interested?  :pok: :pok:

No?

 ;)

If my passport hadn't expired I'd be up for Scotland too :tu:

As it is, I'm good with either of the current options.  Tony's look like its sensible and Gareth's would only involve an hours travel so I'm easy :)

Had a chat today with one of  the guys running the place and it sounds like it will be OK
I will have to meet someone from the main club that uses the area to see when we can fit in around their diary

Are you all happy for me to carry on arranging things down here in Bucks? Dunc, Gareth etc?  :pok:

I should be able to pick people up from the Chiltern line for any train travelers
