Very Nice!

Do you know if those scales are factory on the CyberTool 34?  I have not located an identifier for that model.  Did it come in a box you could post the number from?

Thanks!

Erm, we'd need to ask Neil.

I am really fond of this SAK.  :)  It's worth the hype it has seemed to created.  :D

It came to me without box but its not the first I've seen in emerald.  I believe they also once were sold in onyx.  If I had to guess I'd say it most likely that the emerald and onyx variants were a Europe only thing or possibly even a specific order from one of the distributors.

Must say I'm tempted myself, probably one of the most logical tool selections I've seen on a SAK. But my PS4 has all the same tools and more in a smaller package, so I don't think I can justify buying it just because it's pretty  :ahhh

Thanks for the info.  I have an Onyx one in one size of Cybertool, and I found numbers for that a while back.  Recently Emerald has been appearing on a few knives in small batches from Vic, and from a few custom scalers as well here in the US.

I really like my Spartan-Lite in Emerald, and I think like many here it seems, Emerald may be my favorite translucent scale color.

Do you actually use this tool?  Isn't it better to use a multitool such as leatherman?  I Have a couple of SAK's and some Leathermans, and i am always stuck between which is better to carry.  I love SAK's but i am torn between the two.  A good old SAK has a special place in my heart since i was 'n little boy, but a plier-based multitool seems a more practical option.  Anyhow...  Who knows.  Off topic.

Great SAK you have there by the way bro.

I do indeed.  Apart from the prettiness factor , a SAK of this type is legal for me to EDC and with the small bit driver suits the kind of tasks I have more than a bulkier MT.

Cool.  Makes sense.  Luckily here in SA we can still carry most folding knives and MT's.

I did find a couple other old references to Emerald Cybertool on the web; so It may have been factory in not large quantity or limited to a small number of  distributors.  I'm still lookin' for a model number, not to mention the knife itself.

OK I've been carrying this for a week now and I think I am in love

My beef with swiss tools has always been the drivers and there lack of "bite", but this SAK solves that problem with the bit driver.  Not only are the bits very well formed, the actual ones you get fit many knives that I have and are great for most of the jobs I come across.  I was always a fan of my swisschamp and liked the size, but the CT is just that bit thinner and when using as a knife is just that bit easier.

I really am quite smitten with it as it not only fits my needs and is legal to carry, it is damn gorgeous as well.

That's great to hear Ben , and you've just about encouraged me to get a cybertool as they look quite useful.  I wish I could find one with orange or blue translucent scales  :D

Agree 104%

That's why I say the CT 41 is the modern day SwissChamp.  That bit driver is really awesome.
