Greetings from Belgium
on: September 18, 2010, 11:53:25 PM
Helo everybody,

My name is Eric, I'm 33 years old (born in '77), I'm married to my high school sweetheart, and we have two sons.  I live in Belgium in a little town called berlaar, about 20 km (12.5 miles) south-east of Antwerp .  I'm a long time reader here and I thought it was about time to introduce myself.  By the way, my nickname comes from a popular British television show, which I love.

I'm a Leatherman-fan since I bought myself a Supertool in '94, I also own a Gerber Multiplier (don't know the model 's name, I bought it somewhere around '97), in 2003 I bought an original Wave, last year I bought a Skeletool CX, and last week I bought a Leatherman Crater C33L.  I also own a multitool especially for the bike, It's a Topeak Alien. Not a big collection comparing to the average collections I see here, but I like them all  ;).

A few other hobbies of mine are, mountainbiking (recently I don't get on the bike often, but I will pick it back up one of these days ...), I also like to search the fields here with a metal-detector, hoping to find some old coins, musket balls, bullets from world war 1 ...,  hoping to find the history hidden underneath the surface of these peaceful fields.  And last but not least, I visit a lot of world war 2 battlegrounds here in the ardennes, not to search with the detector, this is forbidden by law and I think that the history of these forrests speaks for itself, digging here would be a total lack of respect towards the brave men who fought and died there. I do thake some pictures from the foxholes you can still see there.  Just to keep the memory alive.

So, that's about all I have to say for now I think, I hope to enjoy this beautiful forum for a long time.

Greetings from Belgium.

P.S. I would like to apologize for any mistakes I type here, English is not my native language (I speak dutch, and some fench), but I'll do my best not to make too many mistakes ... ( I hope ...)

Pictures will be posted here soon  ;).

@MultiMat:

Finally, the mystery of the stig revealed ...  :D, I should have known The Stig was a multitool fan ...
And yes, I still have my Supertool, I could never sell him.  On the inside I can read the number 1094, didn't know they only started making these in '94.

Greets,

Eric
