Taylor Tools beats down the Schrade ST1...again!
on: September 23, 2010, 01:08:18 AM
I just got a brand spanking never before used new in box Schrade ST1. Except this is the newest Taylor tools version.

Man oh man, how has such a great quality tool fallen so low? A quality precision piece of equipment this is not. In fact, I can tell this one from the better older USA made piece by feel in complete darkness!

What lackluster kit. Fit and finish was interesting. I was not surprised to see that they bent the tip of the blade squeezing it into the handle. I did recall seeing Def’s photo of the same, only his was worse. Now all I need are a version 2 and 3 to complete the set.

Short curved blade is a leather bore. The long blade is a scraping blade.
