15 year old Spyderco kitchen knife is 10-51 to Golden, CO

The man made handle is starting to peel away from the blade. I sure hope they can put a new handle on it for me. It's the first Spyderco knife I ever purchased !  It's on the way there so I should know something in a couple weeks.

I just received a letter from Spyderco saying the knife is DOA and they can't repair it.

They gave me a $50 credit towards a new knife, so I ordered another red Persian - Sprint Run.

Unfortunately I don't think spyderco does any actual repairs, so if it's a discontinued model they'll either tell you retire it from service or give you a credit.
