How wide do the jaws on the grappler open?

Does anyone know? The crunch opens wide enough to be useful on the rear axle of my motorcycle, I don't expect the grappler to open as wide but if it goes to 17mm, or at least 14mm I'd be happy.

The opening isn't very big. Mine will barely fit over a 16mm shaft.  (5/8 inch)  But hopefully that will work for you?

Thank you, so if it will work on a 16mm shaft I'm guessing it just might work on a 17mm hex bolt? Thats the biggest size on all my motorcycles (that I would use a mutli tool on).

Right now it's a crunch and a Vic Tracker that lives in the glove box of my bike, along with a few other small tools.
