Slippery Screwdrivers ?
on: September 18, 2007, 10:50:41 AM
I have read a lot of comments about the screwdrivers on the Swisstool being awkward and slippery to use can someone clarify if this is just the flatheads 'cause I used my new best friend to remove a shelf in the kitchen that had been up there from the end of WW2 and painted over every year since ;D and I had no problems with any slipping
While I am on I may as well ask if anybody knows where I can get additional hex bits for my kit?
Cheers

Aren't the hex bit a standard 1/4 size ??? if not then give felinevet a chance.

As for the screwdriver's slipping, Well yes it can happen to any tool, But the way Victorinox put a high polish on things means they are more susseptable than most, but maybe I've adjusted my technique to compensate coz I really don't find it a problem :)

But of course!

Yeah the post round here is actually pretty good, helps when people sending you stuff are quick off the mark too. The good thing is that if we don't have to sign for parcels he will just leave them in the porch thats left open (nothing of value in there!)
