Rough Rider Knives
on: October 10, 2010, 04:43:53 AM
Does anyone own a Rough Rider knife?

There are so many variations on eBay and they look attractive and very cheap. Most are look alike of Buck 110 and Case Knives. There are also foldinng knives that are look alike of the popular USA made knives.

Several of us on this forum have them.  High value knives.  I have a couple of Barlow's and a Whittler.  They seem to have like you mention a number of styles.  If you don't have one may I suggest you give one a try?  I think you would be impressed with it given the price point.  :tu:

Very pleased with mine (a Canoe pattern), especially given the low price.  Have a search here on the forum and I suspect you won't find a bad word said about them. :)

Sean and Gareth,

Thank  you for your quick response to my query. I think I will try a lockback, a Buck 110 look alike.

Eddie

Good, cheap knives of many popular patterns.  Worth a punt at the prices they go for.  :tu:

Having said that though, if it's a Buck 110 you are after I'd only go after the real deal.

Yes, I agree since the price difference between to two is not so much.

If you want a good quality slipjoint at a inexpensive price then definitely get a Rough Rider. The quality for price here can't be beat. They are good solid knives. That said, if a large locking folding hunter is what you want skip everything and get the real thing, a Buck 110.
