Hey guys :)

I am from South Africa. I have been using cheap multitools for over a decade, did not really know any better until I bought a second hand fuse 2 months ago. I was blown away with the quality and feel of the tool. There was a small flat driver missing so I sent it in, and got a wave to tide me over. Which i broke the first day using it to pry

Luckily the guys at the shop were so surprised I managed that in my first day they swopped my wave for another. However since then the bug has bit me bad and  I have gotten way too many more  I use a surge and supertool 300 for work and a spirit at home. I just love the fact that they are all the same shiny metal, so my wife does not know my multitools have been having babies.

Hi Everyone,

Longtime lurker, decided to finally register and participate. I came across this site while looking for information on how to reshape a damaged Victorinox main blade. I found what I was looking for and a whole lot more. I was bitten by the SAK bug and developed a full-blown SAK fever, of which I am only starting to recover. My EDC is an Explorer, at work it’s a Deluxe Tinker. I’ve also dabbled with Climbers, Super Tinkers, Huntsmans (or is it Huntsmen?), Cybertools and recently, Swisschamps. I used to carry a Leatherman for 11 years at my previous job, but the one I have now doesn’t really require me to carry around a large multitool. I stumbled across an old Victorinox Camper that I got when I was around 11 and decided to see what other versions I could find. I quickly started to research and acquire the above listed models in an attempt to find my perfect EDC.  I am looking forward to modding some of my own creations, inspired by the fine examples on these forums.

Hello all,
Just found the forum tonight while searching for right size/type torx bit to fit my Wave so I can add a pocket clip.  Found all I needed and more.  My love for multitools started 30 years ago with a Leatherman PST and has stuck ever since with a couple of original Waves, Supertools and Gerbers.  Retired now in rural Eastern Tennessee and love to tinker with things to make them better fit my needs and desires.  Look forward to learning more about mods and uses for multitools.
Glenn

Good day everyone!

From one of the 7,107 islands (depending if its high or low tide) of the Philippines here.

My first memory of a tool was when I was 5yrs old, I plugged in my father's US market 110v Dremel to our local power outlet which is 220v
Officially the first MT that I owned was an SAK Handyman in the early 2000s which I lost 2yrs after and then replaced with the same model which I have till now.

Currently I've been bit by the LM bug...and its really bad...but that's for another thread.
