New to the forum from the USA (GA). Owner of a Victorinox Spirit XC, Victorinox Huntsman (Black), Victorinox Tinker (Red), Leatherman Rebar BO and Leatherman PST, PST II and Leatherman Micra. Came here for learning more about MT's and fell into this madness. Glad I did. Thanks for having me and I got a badge already I'm a Swiss Army Knight. Eager to learn more!!! Let's get it!!!

I’ve been lurking on this forum for far too long so I thought it was about time I introduced myself.

My name’s Andy, and I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect little pocket tool. Aren’t we all…

I’ve always been a bit of a gadget fan, for years, and have had many a multi tool. Usually they’re for fixing my bike (bicycle). Though I also needed something for opening boxes, in my previous job.

After many missteps, I’ve currently settled on a Victorinox Rambler. Though I’d also really like an Alox version. 

And so my quest begins…

Have already looked  :tu:.  I commend you as I have tried to ( taken apart a SAK ) mod but realized I needed to stop before I made a bigger mess  :D.  I'll leave the modding of SAKs to those more adventurous than I am. 

You are doing a great job and while the learning curve can be steep you are nearly there.

Hi everyone. I'm Dave from the UK down south. I've been collecting knives and multi tools for 30 odd years and when I realised how many SAKs I actually had, I went and bought another one. While doing a bit of research for my recent purchase I happened across this forum which by far had the best advice. Next logical step........ So here I am.

I'm defiantly a fan of the classics! I've been debating buying the mp600 bladeless but I don't want to deal with carbide cutters. Hopefully the GOAT tools cutters fit in the Gerbers!

Hi everyone. Been lurking for several months and just registered. Have found a new addiction to multi tools and EDC items and enjoy high end tools in general. Currently have a my LM Surge, Skeletool , and Crunch in my collection with the bit kit, and both ratcheting and non ratcheting drives. Looking forward to reading and contributing.

Hi, I'm Tankersteve, from Virginia, USA.  I have been a user of Multi-Tools since my first Leatherman as a Boy Scout over 40 years ago, and have carried Leatherman, Victorinox, SOG and Gerber throughout my 23 years in the Army.  I'm not sure I'm a collector yet, but I have a small assortment.  I'm also really hoping to gain some knowledge on the most reliable and sturdy models going forward.
