Thanks for the welcome!
Benner, Near Oxford mate

MultiMat, I do think they are interesting
but I don't see myself using them on-site as I always have my toolbox with me....probably

Viking, that's where my user name comes from  ;)
I misread your reply at first and thought “that's very kind of them!”
I thought you said “they will send you money!” :D

Thanks for the warm welcome and I will post some pictures of my very small collection when I get them rounded up

I have just spent a happy but confused hour looking through loads of tool boxes, draws and bits boxes all over the house and garage,
Found things I've not seen for years,
Lots of cleaning, adjusting and sharpening needed  :-[

There's a couple of axes somewhere, a new cheap one and an old one that needs a new handle

The red one (Sak?) was my first ever knife that I used to carry everywhere (even school)
I will ask my Mum how old I was when they gave it to me
The wood handled one is an 'electricians' knife that was a gift but never been used in anger

The LM was another present from my mum and dad (too nice to use!)   :multi:
The two 'Site' tools were presents to myself
(they were on special around Nov last year (7 or 8 quid)
I got my Gfriend a pair of the pliers for Xmas they were 'made'  by Stanley (12 or 15 quid)and were the exact same tool but a different badge

The Opinal was in an industrial accident when I was around 16/17
half an inch snapped of the end while I was practising throwing it across my bedroom  :ahhh

I made these two when I was about 22,
The large knife is made from a machine hacksaw blade,
I had some help with the brass bit
(can't remember  the right name for it at the min :ahhh) ,hilt,
its a very sharp knife but I guess it might be a bit brittle,
The small one is a fruit knife I made from a broken penknife
