Owning, yes. But I'm not going to buy it just to have it collect dust. Carry laws are strict, if I'm not mistaken.

carry laws are nearly inexisting as in most cities in ca there is no blade lenght limit on folding or fixed blade knives. I am on my phone right now so I cant go into it right now, but when I get home I will send you some links to great info on knife laws in california.

Hi All, I was doing some multi tool research and came across this great site. Thank all for sharing your expertise, I will be reading a lot here. I'm from Maine but am currently living in Washington, DC.

Cheers,

Wow, I never posted in this thread.  I made my intro but I guess I skipped right over this one.  To date myself I guest this post is over two years late.

I am Sean from Texas, and I love Multi's and SAK's.  I joined MT.o in Feb 2010 because of a link I found to the reviews section over at EDCF.  This has been my home ever since.

My name is Matt and I'm a multi tool addict.  I have been looking for the perfect combination for years.  Today I was exploring the idea of finding someone capable of customization, which brought me here.  So if anyone is interested in being hired to customize a SAK, or put some pocket clips on various Leatherman tools please let me know, or point me in the right direction.  Looking forward to sharing my addiction.

Greetings Matt! :tu: We've got a few folks around here who do some pretty fancy custom work. But that being said, why not just take a crack at doing the mods yourself? :pok: :D
In order to be certain of having the right tool for every job.........one must first acquire a lot of tools

Being a dynamic, decisive type, I've been looking at this site for some months and I finally registered as a member a couple of days ago.  I thought therefore it wouldn't be a bad idea to introduce myself a little.  I was born in Lancashire a good long time ago, own a beard, and now live in Sheffield, which seems appropriate given my addiction to sharp, shiny things.  My particular interests apart from regular, traditional slipjoints are pocket/key chain multitools (Micra, Squirt, Shortcut, sort of stuff); Swiss army knives, although I tend to like the one and two layer models as opposed to the larger versions; and I've just started in the last six months or so to get interested in one piece multitools. Thank you for reading the first of my meanderings here.
