Been putting a bunch of my pictures up on FB. Decided I'd put some of 'em up to share with you guys here. These were all taken at the various state parks that we have around here. Lemme know what you think.
This is my GF and her dog, taken at Moraine Hills State Park. About 15 min. away.

Next two were both taken at Veteran's Acres Memorial Park, less than 5 min. from my house.
These were all taken during a walk through Nippersink State Park a couple days ago. Maybe half hour from my place.
This one is from The Hollows, a good sized park/campground that's literally maybe 2 min away. I gotta get some more pictures from there, haven't been back with the new camera.
These are just a small sample of some of my favorite shots of the last week (except the last one, its about a month old). I have literally hundreds more just from the last two weeks. I actually live in a highly populated area less than an hour from Chicago, but most people who live here don't even realize how many hundreds, if not thousands of acres of beautiful parkland exists within a 20 mile radius. A lot of these places are literally surrounded by city, but you'd never know it when you're out there. I plan to take and share many more practicing and polishing my photography skills, so please feel free to tell me what you think and give me advice/criticism.
