Carolina Knife & Tool - Micro Gadget
on: October 13, 2006, 08:28:11 AM
I found a few pictures of this tool on a Polish website, I had never seen this tool, it looks like a LM Micra but with more functions.

Do you know where can I get one of this multitools?

That looks like one of those things you'd see in a pan of surgical instruments in a mad scientist's operating room!

Oooh, I want one too.

(Is there a Carolina Maxi-Gadget? If so, how many functions does it have?)

I think Carolina Knife & Tool company is simply an importer, somehow associated with Gerber. They were (maybe still are?) importing multi tools from China that were made using the Gerber sliding jaws patent. As Chinese junk tools go, these are of better quality than most:

That kind of reminds me of a cross between the Gerber line of tools and the few offerings from Bear Cutlery.  I think they were called Bear Jaws or something.
