That looks amazing! I really want one! Any chance anyone can make that w/ a file blade as well? Any idea how much it would cost?

Oh that looks amazing! How hard will it be to finish off the pins? I've been really wondering how hard alox modding would be, and I have no idea how to redo the rivets. Do you need to peen the pin stock in some sort of holder to give it the right shape, or peen against the scale itself?
Yes, that's exactly what I want, in Silver Alox. Sounds a bit rich for my blood, though. You think it would be ~$125 or so?I have a good name suggestion - the Victorinox Lineman.edit - Do you think it would work using just a Pioneer Harvester, an Alox Apprentice, and a Ranger? The can opener on the Ranger might need to be drilled out, but since the file needs to be as well, I'm thinking it might not be a big deal.edit 2 - Make that an Electrician instead of an Apprentice, I believe you need the extra backspring.
If you want to sell that knife, you know who to call.
