My Commander - Which do you prefer?

One knife I have a bit of a soft spot for is my Emerson Commander.  I bought it modified with scales made by a guy called Ferrrk on another forum and although the scales are amazing, I frequently get the urge to swap them back to the original set up as Ernest intended.

So what should I stick with?

The original scales as it was designed to have?


Or my custom green Strider G10 ones?

I'm a big fan of G10 and green.... nice subtle combo but also very grippy :)

How can we make a PROPER decision without seeing the other scales on the knife? ::)   More pics please :pok:

I am an Emerson fan too I have two, a Commander (no wave) and I believe a CQC? but don't quote me on it.  :cheers:

Actually one is a Benchmade (Emerson design). ;)

Personally I like the look of the green scales, but it's nice to have options. :)

I remember seeing someone, somewhere doing that with I think it was an Endura 4 and it actually
looked pretty sharp.

I voted for the Green G10.  This knife reminds me of Microtech's "Amphibian", except I actually like it better.  It's definitely on my wish list and I would hope to outfit mine with green as well.

Thanks Ben!  Love the green as well and if it was mine I'd probably switch back and forth between the two
colours every so often.  It's like sporting a new knife at each change!  ;)
