Since then I've seen another labeled the same way. So this was a bit confusing to see it in a box as Rucksack. The Tang is: Victorinox-Switzerland-Stainless-Rostfrei / Victoria-Officier-Suisse
......Ooh, you don't see many of those can openers about ......
Bizzare. If its a mod then hats off to the builder Yes more likely done in Ibach. Don't you just wish they had serial numbers so you could trace the history of them.
This one is a nice little mystery. Reminds me of Neil's mystery TeleChrome.91mm Camper "mint" (tools and scales), exposed rivets, tools with high polish including bail. Mysteries; caplifter with scraper, latest can-opener with no +PAT, Raked Teeth on Saw, sm pen-blade (not clippoint), main blade unused, unsharpened, with new tang Victorinox-Switzerland-Stainless-Rostfrei / <crossbow><cross>Officier Suisse. Oil looks pretty fresh, not sitting from 1950s. Sure looks like it must have been sent to the factory for repair and they built up a new knife, and were able to assemble with new exposed rivet handles.Hmmm... a nice mystery to have.
