Orange S2 since 2003. Had a Pro, but gifted it to an NYPD friend. He tells me it sees daily use.

Cocktail fork, barbeque tongs...whatever!  I just wanna see someone successfully remove the old Juice pivots and cleanly replace them with something else!  I've got plans to make an ultimate KF4 and need to see the pivot trick done correctly.

If anyone could do this it would be Eric  I wasn't aware though of a problem with the pivots

I misspoke.   Not a problem per se, I've just never seen it done to completion.

Yah, those rivets are just something awful. I have some barrel pins on the way so I'll see how it goes.

Got my Juice C2 yesterday.  First Juice to call my own though I have used friends before on hikes.  I have never been a big fan of the juice but the more I hold it the better I like it.

I am going to carry it the next week to see if I can accomplish everything I can normally on my wave or wingman which I normally carry.  Obviously I opted for the cork screw over the scissors so I will carry my style cs on the keychain as well

Early impressions,
Love the flat head screw drivers.  Much better than expected.   Knife blade is adequate.   Cork screw is small making wine opening more difficult then a standard cork screw.  -Edit- I take back the cork screw comment..it worked perfectly

Really like the design on the can opener/bottle opener/waiter key.

Pliers are much much smaller than what I normally carry.  Will take some getting used to and may not handle the abuse I plan for them.

They pliers are petite, but robust for their size.  I once had to make a repair on a group bike ride.  One of the ladies' pedals had fallen off (wasn't installed right where she bought it) and I was able to put it back on and tighten it with my Juice S2.  I don't think the thicker Wave pliers would've been able to get in that small space.

Off topic but what do you ride Corso? I have an Orbea Aqua :tu:

:b2t:

I'm wondering what LM did to make the tools in the Juice to come out individually  Maybe good spacers  My curiosity won't get the best of me to take one apart  Any ideas or facts on this?

Mostly just old steel mountain bikes but for the road I assembled a light aluminum singlespeed from an old Technium (the only drop bar bike I own).

That's exactly how I felt  about the Juice line myself. I got to use a friend's Juice S2 one day and just fell in love with the ergonomics of that tool. He then told me that all of the Juice line were similar. I'm now on a mad hunt to get what I can :gimme: I have found a few here that are graciously willing to part with some very awesome relics at steals, now all I need to do is quit crunching cars  so I can pay for all this

Got it at target, it was a package deal with a tinker.

Went to Target y'day and found the Tinker/ bracelet combo. I like the charm on the bracelet and how it's the clasp  I really couldn't tell that in your image Colt  The combo is a very decent price at $25  or $26  I can't recall atm. Again, can't buy it now but hopefully it will be there still whenI can  I'm thinking of when I do get the combo, taking the bracelet apart and doing my own thing with it. A SAK bracelet mod, we could start a thread for that?¿?

I may have addressed this in another thread but I don't recall. Is there a reason that the tools on the S2 (and maybe other Juice models) all come out individually? The other LM products I own don't have this (feature?). If I remember them correctly, they all have the 'if one tool comes out, we're all coming out' deal

Anyone else with a similar experience with their Juice tools?

Powernoodle! :D You just made me feel better about the state of mine. I was concerned that I would gt told off if I post a pic as it's fairly battered but as it's not anodised, it doesn't look nearly as well loved as your's. :D
Cheers,

Some see "clamping" as a good thing, others as a negative; some people find it easier to select tools that way, rather than one at a time.

It has to do with whether the tools pivots are touching each other or have a separator or space between them.

Some multitools even have a mixture of clamping and non-clamping implements.
I think the ST300 and Wave tools do not, all, clamp together. Not sure now. Maybe they do not clamp too much.  ???  ???
The Juice ones are non-clamping, so that you can be stabbed by each individual driver separately, I think.  :D

In a swisstool all tools come out indvidually,as in the SAKs.

Hi Lynn,

Actually I didn't know there was a new member forum as I went straight to Leatherman's section  right from the beginning. I think this website only needs one section: Leatherman would be fine  :D

But I followed your suggestion and thanks :)
