Did I hand in my Juice card?

I should have... I got rid of the three Juices I had.
Pretty toys IMHO that should live in the bottom of a handbag.  >:D

Incidentally, I kept my Dime... how much does that say? ::)

The Juicy model that Leatherman did not create. It is on eBay for $20 http://www.ebay.com/itm/232112908084

Whoa - I retract my statement !!
...........I am not an expert - But I don't think we see too many counterfeit Leathermans/Juices ...........

That looks like a very good knock off - Again not an expert - But the CS and serrated blades look better than the LM ones!!

I know, right?  At first, I hope it was a factory reject/ error or something like that. But then I did not see "Leatherman" on the pliers...

Good god man, you scared the #*#*# out of me.  My eyes were going to the seller first thing before even looking at he MT.  In reality, that actually made me feel better seeing that one.  Mine looks like a real leatherman to the T (probably because it is a real leatherman).  But #*## man, I was dreading that punched in the gut feeling no man likes, the one of being played like a sucker.

So you thought of a steal for a rare fin, huh  :D ? The price dropped to $15 with best offer. Seriously, someone needs to add this gem to his collection. :multi:

I got an XE6 or CE4 "homage" ages ago, which I ended up passing on in a giveaway. It resembled it in proportions but was actually larger from what I recall. I can't remember who ended up with it now  As a cheap and cheerful tool (it was certainly budget priced off one of the Chinese sites), it wasn't actually that bad. I've owned worse cheapos that's for sure

Of course, this might be a different "homage" producer.....

OK, but only because you insisted  :pok:

I'll be interested to see if it is a mini or maxi Juice knockoff ( I have both, but up to now the only a  green Juice I have is a genuine one).

You did not do best offer? I am pretty certain he would take $10-12 for it.

No, I didn't have much time as I was about to head off to a dog agility trial, and I had already been thinking about buying it, so didn't bother.  I like my knock-offs, so was happy to get this one.

After a week with the juice in my pocket, I am really liking it.  It has not been called upon for anything major, so it hasn't been tested.  That being said, it is much more pocketable than the wave I carrie routinely, yet feels much more substantially capable than its baby brother the squirt.

That's a better pic Simplon, some pair you have there!

Quick question for the Juicy crew, in the original Juice series did the CS4 have 'Leatherman' on one scale and when turned over 'Juice CS4' on the other?

Chrono, UK prices for Leatherman Multitools are far in excess of US prices. My Leatherman collection up to now has cost me in the region of £500. Compared to my other hobby which is operating a garden railway it is mere trifle. I've just spent £3200 on a new steam engine.

I was sick of the pliers on my S2 keeping getting wedged on the 3-screwdriver side. My Surge was also in need of service, due to a broken tool. So, off to the Leatherman factory they went. :ahhh It might have been more than 6 years since the last time I sent a LM in. Last time was the Core, my very first LM.

I have several Juice models including multiple S2s.  I first purchased a few for Christmas stocking stuffers and didn't encounter the plier wedging problem until early January.  My wife came to me with her CS4 wedged tightly.  She is sometimes leery of my brute force methods (I am 6'7" & weigh 250 lbs.) so I took it to another room to "fix it".  I am sorry to say that it took a number of these incidents for me to actually study the problem and learn how it occurs.  I adapted the way I close the Juice and never had another problem with the pliers becoming wedged under the flat drivers.  I might still be having these problems if I hadn't purchased a C2 (liked the red color) that jammed every time.  This made it easy to see how the problem occurred and make the adjustment to prevent it.  Until then, I thought that it was a simple matter of making sure that the flat drivers were all fully seated.

Why would I put up with a quirky MT?  It might defy logic, but there is just something about the various Juice models that I really like.  If asked, I would say that the Charge TTI & AL are my favorite Leatherman tools.  If someone were to follow me around, he would notice that I am always reaching for one of my Juice models (usually an S2) and that the Charges have a revered "collector status", stored safely in their sheaths in a drawer.  I suppose that I don't really consider the Juice quirky any longer thanks to learning how to operate them (they are now trouble-free).
