The cobbler's children have shoes with holes.
on: November 12, 2010, 04:10:45 AM
That's the old saying. :-\

I have how many multitools, SAKs, little tool kits, and whatnot?  A lot, I can tell you.   :P
Add to that, my wife's various stashes of tools.  Y'all have seen prior posts of her cache of knives, tools and prybars.

I came home yesterday to find my wife doing finishing work with one of the "finest" tools I've ever seen.  ::)

A couple of close ups:

We don't know better... when I left home after school and moved to another city, my Dad gave me some tools for basic repairs and to set up a drawer etc. Of course these tools weren't his best, and he didn't bother to buy new ones for me. Most of them looked exactly like this screwdriver (well not sooo bad, but almost...)  :pok:

Guess why I rushed out just about a month later to buy a PST2 from the very first money that I earned  :D

There's actually something rather pleasing to the eye with the shape of that.....until I remember it's supposed to be a screwdriver! :ahhh

It's good to have a beater, sometimes you need to bang on something in order to fix it  :)

It reminds me of something that happened a few months ago.
We sent our car in for repair, because it had a leak or something.
And a week after we got it back my brother found a bigass screw driver in the small bay where the windscreen wipers are!!!
It's a good thing we didn't turn them on in the middle of the road  :ahhh

Put it up on eBay and call it art.
