I think it may be the default. Just go into your forum profile to change it  :tu:

I may be wrong but the spam flag is used to show others where a spammer has been banned and therefore their posts are a load of old smurf.

If a new person or guest is reading through the forums they could well assume you are a spammer and ignore your valuable wisdom :D
