advice on super bright light

I am looking for a light that throws like crazy. I have lanterns with plenty of spill and I want a light that throws far. The led lender with 1300 to 1500 lumens looks great but is too much money. I see a romisen T6 with 1500 lumens for around 120. It needs cr123 batteries. I like the idea of the Fenix TK45 because it uses AA but at only 760 lumens... I see amazon has one that uses size D batteries and puts out 1,000 lumens but it is no name brand. What is a good light with one of the longest throws? I am leaning to Fenix but if there is a better deal using AA or D I will take it.

Just get a kleig light and drag around on a trailer.  That'll totally work, right?
