Something when cutting thin material like this the material fold between the scissors blades.

I have both types of scissors and confirm what u have tested above. I've used the scissors on paracord, thin plastic bags, tapes and paper and coffee mix sachets and medicine packaging. This mostly what I cut it with and prefer the Vic over Wenger's self sharpening one. This is one of the reasons why the 65mm Executive 81 never gets used.Have used those on Style PS and Squirt as well and still prefer Vic for its thinner width profile. Makes for more accurate and precise cutting...Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I need more data before I do that so today I'll continue to carry both tools looking for stuff to cut. I really would like some testing ideas from you folks so let me know what you think would make a good comparison test.
Great thread. I'd like to see plastic bottles. I often use them for various purposes tho admittedly I use the blade when cutting them to size. I'd also like to see candle wicks. Trimming them is always best done with sharp scissors. Gauze, drinking straw, and food packing thats foil lined.

... The thin handle on the Wenger Ade a hot spot on my thumb from the repeated heaver pressure to cut through the cardboard. The Vic's only problem was the small size of the 58mm in my hands felt it was harder to control....
