I had opportunity to try some Fenix LED lamps...
Fenix TK11
Made of aircraft aluminum hard anodized HA III in black finish. Uses 2xCR123 or 1x18650 battery. It has two modes NORMAL - 48lm / 12h and TURBO - 258lm / 2h42min. Lamp throw is respectible 188m (around 617 feet). It is IPX-8 waterproof and can endure submerging to 2m (around 6,5 feet), also it can withstand fall from 1,5m (around 5 feet). It is made to last (by Fenix TK means tank construction) and be abused. It has SMO (smooth) reflector designed for tight hotspot, small spill and good throw, and anti reflexive coated mineral lens.
Fenix TA21
I like this one better, it is larger than TK11, but has a lot more options using selector ring right bejind head. You can switch between 12 modes of use:
- MOD I – 4 lm / 170h
- MOD II – 18 lm / 37h
- MOD III – 35 lm / 18h
- MOD IV – 50 lm / 12h
- MOD V – 80 lm / 7h
- MOD VI – 120 lm / 4h
- MOD VII – 160 lm / 2,5h
- MOD VIII – 195 lm / 2h
- MOD IX – 225 lm / 1,5h
- MOD X – 230 lm strob / 3h
- MOD XI – 18 lm flash / 370h
- MOD XII – SOS / 30h – repeating cycle
Like Fenix TK11 it is made of aircraft aluminum, hard anodized HAIII, it is IPX-8 waterproof and can endure hard usage. It has OP (orange peel reflector) and same lens. This lamp throws up to 200m (around 657 feet). It is a excellent choice for allmost any usage you can think of and under any conditions
