That's quite a handful, and at a mere $1200.00, you should get a few of them...

At $1200, that's the only way I will ever get to see one.  ;D

Or maybe Wenger would agree to send me a free sample, providing I write up a flattering review? Whaddya' think?

Not really... they do make a large knife with just about everything but the kitchen sink, but it's not on the same scale as that one.

In fact, there were two really big Victorinox models- the XXLT (now discontinued) and the replacement model, the XAVT.  The XXLT had 72 functions while the XAVT has 80.  The XXLT wasn't imported to the US because of restrictions with the integrated lighter, which didn't have a child safety feature.  There were also some issues with the lighter functions on the three "Lighter Models," the SwissFlame, CampFlame and XXLT and so the whole series was discontinued.

You can see some pics here:

I saw a video about the Giant and it sure takes the prize as the biggest SAK!

I think it is nice that there are such things but am happy to just admire them in the video. I had planned to get the larger Swiss Champs but changed my mind somewhere along the line. The Swiss Champ is large but it is right on the border of usability. The larger Swiss Champs would make good collector's SAKs but are too big to use for my tastes. Instead, I have gone for several Swiss Champs with a variety of scales that span from the original 1985 release to the latest release.

Meanwhile, if I want to see a really large SAK, I will search for a video featuring the Wenger Giant!

I don't have as big hands either and even the XAVT was fine, that was the only bigger SwissChamp I got to use once in 2015. Have been in love with it since. The XLT seems especially fine too. :tu:

One fun thing to add that someone should correct on SAKwiki is that there were actually some versions of the Giant that actually are in fact sharpened. From what I read on other parts of the web and youtube it seems to be the earlier ones aeound when they first started making it.
