So here's the background. Neil
made me buy his Black G10 Spyderco UKPK

How happy I was to add this beauty to my EDC. The blade was sharp but not really sharp. I tried to sharpen it myself as best I could without making things worse. Then I remembered S30V being particularly hard to sharpen; keeps an edge for longer but harder to sharpen

As well as this fine emporium of shiny things I also frequent British Blades. So I asked Essexman if he knew of anyone who could help with my sharpening problem. Thankfully he pointed me towards
this link
This is a member over on British Blades called Longstrider. Word got out of his great sharpening skills / tools. If you browse through the link above you'll get an idea of his work. As far as I'm aware he does this in his own time. He charges a fair price for the work. I only got my UKPK sharpened but I think he can do all sorts of work to your knife, all you got to do is ask

So if you live in the UK and aren't as
sharp with a whetstone [get it

] drop a PM to Longstrider. If he can help he will, if he can't I'm sure he'll let you know
All I can say is my G10 UKPK is now officially scary sharp

Hopefully I can maintain it ongoing

I do hope someone will find this review of use and it didn't sound like an advert

My FRN UKPK did not get the Longstrider treatment
