New LM Factory Tour Video on LM's Site

Well, the title says it all. Nice video! :) Takes you step by step through the tool-making process. Very informative for a <6 min. piece.  I just wish they'd had a little longer clip of the pliar-sanding robots :D I spent about 6 minutes just staring at them on the tour...

Very cool, I enjoyed that alot. Too bad I can't see the SOG factory.

Working in manufacturing myself, I found this video very interesting!

Most surprising was the number of manual operations. I was assuming there would be more automated processes and use of robots.
In order to be certain of having the right tool for every job.........one must first acquire a lot of tools

Also noted a bit of a slip at the punch press station. Seems like they should be using a Leatherman Crunch here..... ;)

Hehe, Whoops! Good eye on that one :D :D :D At least they weren't using the "other" multi-vice-grips ;D

Merit Badges Take part in the christmas pool or a rak type giveaway. Those wanting to say thank you for a rak may also nominate for the santa. For those who posted like a boss.
