How do you put captions on Photo's?

Is there a easy way of putting captions on photos?

You need to open up your picture in some photo editing software. Microsoft Paint is probably on your computer already. Just open your photo with Paint, then use the TEXT button to write words. It allows you to use different font sizes, different colors, etc.

The easiest to use is "Paint".

Select the picture file to be opened
Click "open with"
Select "Paint"
Click "text" icon at the left of the screen

Thanks guys I have been playing with paint and have sort of worked it out , even using lines . Now how do you put text under your photos , Def mentions image tags in the photo post. How is this done

If you upload your images into Photobucket you can use their editing software (this is all free BTW) and easily add what they call 'stickers' to your pics with whatever you want written on there.  You can also add arrows and text etc.
