I just got my first SOG a Power Assist all i can say wow i have to say i like it. Their is a lot of engineering that went into this tool. I like the assisted blade as well as the v-cutter and the geared plier head is sweet.

I love that SOG's are a little different from many other tools.
Hope you enjoy it

My blade does not have any play in fact all tools and locks work very well. I think my PA is going to be one of my favorites.

After carrying my PA for two weeks one of the PA locks broke so i had to send back to SOG for repair. Three weeks later i got back they repaired it polished it and resharpened it. It looked better than new and it came with a SOG hat in the box. I give SOG a big thumbs up customer service and the hat.

Sounds great! I'm leaning more and more in getting my first SOG as well. I want OHO blades in my tools so I guess the PA should be the one to get. I have read different stories about the OH closing though. Any thoughts on that?

I don't really have any problems closing my PA. I guess it is a little harder to close than my Kershaw assisted knife. I think it closes fine.

With one hand I mean..
Anyway, I might go check out the sales section on the forum. Perhaps someone is willing to let one go for a reasonable price

I see what you mean you can close it with one hand but you have to push the blade part way closed on something to close the blade with one hand.
I bought mine from Amazon i think it was 52.00. It is 63.00 now.
