All the last minute stuff like the last coat of preserve on the shed check the fencing etc .When I get the time to myself (I know it's me time when pigs fly past the bedroom window and I don't mean the force helicopter) I like to spend some time just enjoying the outdoors and trying to make fire Scotland is so wet and miserable it's hard work!
Given the huge levels of paranoia and the whole serial killer look I only take my Mauser for day trips .I have a cheapo hatchet chinas finest £5-00 special for anything longer and might add a Mora after advice from you guys
I've been out in the hills a bit,LM Pulse in one pocket, and either a Vic Hiker,or Farmer in another. However it's been so dry, that fire making is decidedly out, unless I'd like a visit from the fire marshal. My cycling has taken a bit of a slide these past couple days, fighting off a head cold.
