I am glad yours are in good order. Sounds to me like more than likely most are in good shape but there are some mellons and I happened to get two of them. On the other hand I have two with great pliers.

I'd suggest contacting Customer Service if you haven't already.  Chris usually drops in on these threads sooner or later, but I'm sure with SHOT being right around the corner he may be too busy to stop in.

Ok I got my 4 MTO Micro ToolClips  8) 8). All 4 appear to be of a except-able  standard not TOP notch but I do not expect the world from a sub $20 MT. All 4 pliers line up nicely & not suffer from the misalignment found on some of these tools.

Why not ?  They set the price and it should be an exceptional product if they put their name on it.  LM manages to sell some killer MT for around $20, why can't SOG  :twak:

I am talking retail price mate , I reckon you would struggle to find a Leatherman for around $20 retail .

I got a blue and a pink one, both are OK. Not perfect, but good value.

I hope they have these issues ironed out for the Tool Logic version.

I just received mine today, and I must say, not bad for the money. Not exactly SOGs best but very acceptable for the price. The little side to side plier play in one is very minimal. The others are solid.

I had one incident with sog customer service and they were awesome. What a company, unlike crkt or swisstech... Buggers.
For an 80 dollar tool I would ship it back but not for a cheap tool. Sog customer service is great

Go out and read Chakos review on the Micro ToolClip!

I stumbled over the following sentence:
Quote
On the plus side, that hex bolt means you can hopefully adjust the tension if it gets too lose over time.
Realizing that I can adjust the tension of the pliers I rushed out to search the right tool for this, and now my bad Micro ToolClip works fine! I am still not very impressed by the file, but the wire cutter now cuts paper, and the pliers are lined up just like they should be.  :tu:

It doesn't have a Multitool.org logo on it- must be defective!  :P
