The trial version never expires.

Anyone may use this software during a test period of 40 days. Following this test period of 40 days or less, if you wish to continue to use WinRAR, you must purchase a license.
I apologize for my poor english...

Yes, that's what it says but so does WinZip. The trials for both never stop working though.

WinRar is THE standard for compression in let's just say, ummm... certain areas of the internet because of it's support for PAR(ity) files. It is the second most popular archiver in the world next to ZIP. (pkzip anybody?)

Plus, because WinRar is (finally) available in a 64 bit version and supports multi-threading its a godsend for those of us that spend our lives buried in huge compressed files. I did purchase a license after using it for so many years though.

You are right though.  It's not open-source like 7Zip so it's not technically FREE.  (Actually, now that I think about it the DECOMPRESSER is free, it's the archiver that they suggest you purchase after 40 days.)

...and back to our regular scheduled programming.

Looks like Dropbox changed their directory structure since I posted that link above to the MP600 pics.

How annoying.  I always hate reading forums and finding dead links so I really try to make sure to keep everything I post "alive" ..

Anyways, here is the new link to the MP 600 pics.

What is the version of MP600?
(Image removed from quote.)

This one seems to be often sold as part of a maintenance kit;

Be excellent to each other and always know where your towel is.
