Because I on you all care about what is in my pocket
As some of you may remenber my Powerlock was specialized with no blade, saw, or awl and paladin hooky things.  It has now been replaced with a Paratool (same load out as the PL sans sissors).  It will serve as my new EDC.

And now the PL has it blades back and will special duty (when I need a heavy duty MT)

Interestingly SOG's site says the 1/4 drive and v cutter won't work in the Paratool

Nice :tu:

The ability to change the toolset in SOGs is what I love about them most.

Cool stuff Yud.  I'm getting more and more interested in the paratool as a handy smaller tool.  I've never had the chance to handle one--is it easy to pinch oneself folding the pliers in?  I'm thinking of getting one for my 5 y/o daughter (with out blades) because she loves playing with my PL, especially the V-cut.  I would also like one for myself!   :)

I have not pinched myself (but I have only had it since friday) you can but it is not easy.

It is a nice little tool and a good size for a kid the only thing is mine is a little stiff, I don't know if a 5 year old could open it.  but let me compeare it to some other tools

Also as I recall Nuphoria EDCs a Paratool and she might be better able to advise you

Did you have to modify the V-Cutter to fit into the ParaTool?

Very nice setups by the way!  :multi:

I do indeed EDC one sometimes and I've not managed to damage myself with it yet! :D

I really like the mechanism personally, and once you are familiar with it, it's like any other tool you carry a lot.

I also put a V-cutter in one of them without any trouble too. I really don't know if a 5 yr old could easily handle one to be honest as the possibility of crushed little fingers is probably there!

No in fact everything I have tired fit, even sissors.

But one thing about the v-cutter is if you put it outter most slot on the handel with the opening lever (top side in my pic), it will slip off the side of the spring and grind.  But anywhere else works.
