I have one. It works very well. I have only modded about 3 knives though.

Yes, it worked great for my one and only mod so far. Added a cyberdriver to a Vic Champion, used the pin kit and brass pin stock from Roto's shop.
Yeah, you right...

Whilst I'm too lazy to use the pin head drill (I just snip them off) it does come with a good quality parallel punch and the nylon block is very useful :tu:
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

So the holes in the nylon block are there for... A place to tap the rod out into?

Correct. Simple but effective and saves a lot of messing about.  Its also more robust that making similar out of wood.  I've had that one for a few years now.  Its looking a bit grubby but they do wash :)

Does it require any other tools (such as a drill/dremel) or is it completely functional as is?

You need a drill if you're going to drill out the brass heads. Neil snips the heads off.  You need a hammer to tap out the pins.

I got even lazier for taking apart the 91's.  I used to carefully drill out the center brass and save the bushing... now I just hold the entire non corkscrew side of the SAK on my bench top belt sander and grind all 4 off at once.  :D  Speeds up disassembling, but non helpful if you actually want to save the bushings. :D

can someone explain this further, i'm not seeing it right,

Neil just snips the bushings off?

I don't really know how Neil did his.  For me, I take a centerpunch and carefully punch the end of the pin.  Then I use the drill bit in the kit to remove the head (and hopefully not messup the bushing).

The white block is handy to put the long pinstock in, so that the layers can assembled more easily.

You know, you could sell those bushings...
