My smurfty Day
on: October 21, 2007, 12:12:13 AM
First, I got ran over INSIDE Wal-Mart by a crazy lady driving one of those motorized carts...

... then, while waiting to get gas, this happened...

The little guy in the back seat is ok :)

Were you the hitter or the hittee?

Either way, glad you are ok.  That's one of the reasons I don't shop at Wal Mart.  Some of the folks that shop there are more interested in what's in the next aisle than in the lives and wellbeing of the people they are running over to get there.  I lose a good pair of jeans to Wal Mart once because some woman and her cart needed the entire lane and I got thrown into a shelf.

Sit down, pop open a beer and put the day behind you.  Tomorrow will be better, and if it isn't, well you'll probably be a little to dead to worry about it!

There is a distinctive square-shape gouge in the center of that door panel, but I can't guess what caused it...a trailer hitch maybe?

Looks a little high for a trailer hitch?

I was the hittee.  I got hit by a guy in a Ford pickup.  He didn't even look before he started backing up.  (I should have expected that from someone driving a Ford... :P )

The only reason I go to Wal-Mart anymore is because my girlfriend gets her prescriptions the cheapest there.

I had seen the lady that hit me a couple of times in the store before she decided to run me over.  Each time she was talking to herself and smashing into the racks at the ends of the aisles.  She ended up checking out in front of me, and while I was paying she decided she needed to back up and smashed into me.... Then she yelled at me to get out of the way. (after she hit me :) )

No worries though, I'm fine.  I can still take a pretty good hit and get up from it :)

No, he knew it was his fault and he kept telling me he was sorry...  On a somewhat funny sidenote, my dad happened to call me a couple minutes after it happened.  After telling him about the accident, the first thing he says to me is... "Don't shoot him..."

Are you kidding me?  I think people who don't look where they are going should be shot.  Maybe then people will learn to use all that fancy glass included in cars these days.

665ae, I'm glad no one was hurt.  As for the woman with the cart: I'm sure no court in the world would convict you if she had an "accident."  ::)
