What about the Freestyle?
on: November 10, 2007, 02:07:16 AM
This is from equipped.com:

"They are scheduled to start shipping in November. "Skeletool" was originally shown in prototype form at SHOT Show earlier this year as the "Freestyle." Despite the name change, there will still be a Freestyle, but it will be a more basic version of the Skeletool that will be introduced at a later date."

Anybody know anything more about the Freestyle? I haven't heard anything except for that little piece...
And what do you think a "more basic version of the Skeletool" could look like. ???

Yah, hard to imagine what would be "more basic" than a plier, a knife, and a bit driver. Maybe the Freestyle doesn't have a knife?  ;)
In order to be certain of having the right tool for every job.........one must first acquire a lot of tools

That would explain it! :D
Or maybe it won't have the extra bit-holder? ::)

I sent a email to leatherman just a couple of days ago and they said the freestyle should be out summer of 2008 but they could not give me any information as to what exactly it would look like.  I personally hope it looks like the picture on equipped to survive.  I like the looks of the pliers on that picture from the
SHOT show.
