J-Sew's Charge Blades!
on: October 24, 2007, 03:37:57 AM
Bob was ever so kind to send me a metal saw for my charge and wave tools. I am so pleased by the lock-up and the cutting performance it is uncany. I cut some copper piping to make a nice blow-gun and it worked quite well. And, you guys said it doesnt work in the surge! I tried it out and it does not lock up as tight but it still works nice and doesnt move when you are cutting either! very impressed

Glad it arrived safely sir, and even better that it's working out well for you!  :)

I'm glad that it works okay on your Surge. Due to slightly different design & construction, on my Surge the saws don't work so well. No such problem with Charges and Waves.

I had not tried mine on copper tubing yet. Good to know that it presents no problem. I look forward to hearing about other places it works (or doesn't work) for you.
In order to be certain of having the right tool for every job.........one must first acquire a lot of tools

J-sews,I got my blade about a week ago and i've been too busy using it to write  :D. I used it to flush-cut some rusted drywallscrews and to trim a new screen door mounting channel on my cottage. I used it in my surge and it was no more wobbly than some of the t-shank blades I have!
Thanks again

Either of you guys have any pictures of how well they work?

Leave the dents as they are- let your belongings show their scars as proudly as you do yours.
