I received my Powelock (S60) today.
This is my first SOG multitool.
I am a Leatherman fan with the Leatherman Surge as my EDC.
Two weeks ago I bought a Victorinox Swizztool secondhand for a price that I could not turn down. This was my first multitool (with pliers) that I own other than a Leatherman make). I only keep this as part of my collection as I can not use it because my nails are too soft.
After I have seen a friend's pocket pliers of SOG I just had to have one.
I browsed the local reseller here in SA and I ordered the Powerlock.
I am satisfied on the one hand and dissatisfied on the other hand.
Quality and abilities, finishing, etc. is even better than I have foreseen. This is a serious tool, although the critics say it is basic.
I am dissatisfied because of the money: now I have to buy all the other models just purely because I want them.
But now on the other hand men grow up but remain boys. Just their toys get more expensive.
The Powerlock is worth the money I have spend on it.
Regards
Johan
