He's a little on the crazy side, but you really can turn down 13 minutes of Victorinox booth video can you?

It's not 13 min of Vic I'm turning down, it's 13 minutes of Nut'N'Fancy ego stroking I'm turning down.

Turn off the sound. ;) Although there was some interesting things in the dialogue from the Vic lady.

Lindor chocolates ARE pretty good...
This is called a Swiss Army Knife. Do you know what Switzerland is? Switzerland is a place where they don't like to fight, so they get people to do their fighting for them while they ski and eat chocolate. - Larry David

German I know, but I prefer Ritter Sport.
It's a good thing we don't get banned for getting off topic here.

Nice video.  Worth watching.

It has good information on various models especially for those that are not so obsessed with these things, or follow this forum or SOSAK.  The Victorinox representative was impressive, very knowledgeable and professional; a credit to the company.

Okay, okay I broke down and watched it. Was def better than a lot of his other recent stuff, actually reminded me of why I used to like him. Becky did indeed rock :tu:

He was actually dead right about something. The Dual Pro X is a budget RescueTool. In fact, that's exactly how I use mine. He even explained the reasoning, that if you are going to be using the glass features of the RescueTool you are going to need eye protection and gloves, which means you might as well carry dedicated tools.
Apparently he doesn't know about scale swapping though.

Yeah I agree. I fell in love with the rescue tool a while back, but couldn't justify buying it. The first time I saw the Dual Pro X I immediately thought "holy carp it's the rescue tool with the fat cut out". I haven't been able to grab one yet, but it's very much near the top of my planned multi purchases once I come up with an excuse and the cash at the same time lol.
Also, though I don'y personally have any interest in it, the digital camo scales were pretty nifty, and I'd like to check out those soft touch scales at some point. They looked terribad but I'd like to see how they feel.

Felinevet might still have them on special.

Actually, yes. Yes I can. I might mute it and watch later, but the truth be told I can only listen to about 20 seconds of that windbag.

Thanks for the link, though.

I was surprised, he actually doesn't act like a douche-nozzle in this one. He stays on point, actually lets Becky speak, it's better than most of what he's done lately.

@ari: I was real close to jumping on Tim's pricing on the DPX, but just couldn't spend the cash having just moved and not found a new job up here yet. Gotta keep the priorities at least somewhat straight lol.

Thanks for posting.  I enjoy Nutnfancy's reviews/talks about Victorinox knives.  I am glad he finally posted some new stuff with these two videos.

I turned off the sound and watched the video.  I really want one of the dual density SAK's but can't decide which one so I was a little disappointed that he didn't spend more time on them, but pretty cool nonetheless.  SAK goodness!!!!  I just really can't stand listening to him anymore.

Best clear images of the build machine I've seen yet.  There is not much wrong with the audio on these. There are a few stupid jokes that the sidekicks for some reason find funny, but over all these are very good.
