Scibeer did a limited run of hard anodized scales some time ago, but they are pretty well all gone now, and Bill (Scibeer) has been MIA due to personal problems.  Unless someone wants to part with one they currently have, I think you are pretty well out of luck.

They do come up for sale now and then.
I've just bought a Scibeer HAIII Pioneer NIB.
Be warned they are not cheap when they do turn up.  :ahhh

Be warned that it is a very labor intensive process, as the factory anodizing has to be removed first.

Unless you do it yourself or have a best friend that can, forget it. Scibeer and I had to commission them done in a lot and then Scibeer had to dismantle and strip the regular anodizing off before the company will accept the job.

I can get it done locally here. Ive had stuff annodized before. Its just a bit of a pain/uneconomical to get one set done thats all.Thought someone may be selling them.

Then do a larger run. I'm sure you could sell the extras here.

I dont think you can buy alox scales on their own and i cant afford to buy a tonne of 93mm alox knives just for the scales and then on sell them. If i did do it i would have to have pre payment, people supply their own scales etc. Ive never had HA done before, only normal annodizing and in AUS its very cheap.

That's exactly why the Scibeer knives were so expensive. We had to buy regular Alox Farmers and then take them apart, strip the anodizing, have them anodized, re-assemble them, etc. VERY time-consuming and expensive.
