Looks like there are a few redundant functions on that knife.  ;)

So how much are you going to bid on it?  :pok:

I've got a feeling that clumping wouldn't be much of an issue;by the time you figured which implement to get,the need would have long passed :D

Those are typically called "Salesman's Knives" because they were sold to individual salesmen who would travel around and show off the individual tools to customers who would choose which ones they wanted in the final product.

They aren't usually too hard to find if you look for them, but they aren't terribly common either.

How annoying! It appears the auction ended early so there is no top figure.  Did anyone see how high it went?

"The seller ended this listing early because the item is no longer available for sale."

In my experience, this usually means that someone contacted the seller directly and made a private offer outside of eBay.  :(

That's a shame.  :(  I know it went past $2000 but that was a couple of days ago.

Wow, really? I hadn't been keeping track.

Hmmm, makes me want to go over to grandma's house right now and root around in the kitchen drawers! (I don't think grampa ever owned an exhibition knife, but for $2000+, it's worth finding out!)  :P :D

Maybe the seller saw my offer of $16.83.  ;)

I'm going to try $16.83.   :D
