PST or PSTII Mod question

I love my PST and take it everywhere but IMO it is lacking a wood saw.
Would it be possible to replace the can opener by a wood saw?
where can i get the tool to unscrew the funny retainers?

The special tools are factory issued & only to LM service technicians. So they are rarer than hens teeth

. If you are VERY careful you can use vise grips. LM uses loctite so heating the fastener helps too loosen it.
I had a bit of luck making some sockets out of cheap/soft sockets , the ones I made for the Micra's smaller fasteners worked best. I need to have another crack at some for the larger sized fasteners.

Not sure what saw you could use to sub into a PST

. You may have to mod a small saw blade to get it too fit into a PST

You can use two Kick clips for disassembling a PST.

Problem is that the pliers head sits tight against that side of the handle, so there's not really room for a saw in place of the can opener that I can see. $:-\$
