A Huntsman was my first SAK, back in about 1971. I used it for several years till I gifted it to my Father. Now, of course, I own slightly more than one SAK.
There is no hope for you, just enjoy the ride.

Yep. All you can do is grin and bear it, and rest in the knowledge that there are plenty of other things more dangerous to be addicted to  :D

Until now, I only bought Leatherman stuff (with one Gerber side-step ...), but after hanging around on this forum for hours and hours

I bought myself a Victorinox

So THIS is how MTO works  :ahhh :ahhh

I'd had only Leathermans before, never trusted another manufacturer, had never had a single SAK.... until Chako & Aloha did the .. incorrigible. Now I've ordered one coloured alox Sak and I'm contemplating another one

Please, BAN ME now.

:D

btw, cool knife    Shouldn't have looked at it

P.S. When will I learn to read the date on the first posts :D :D

I own a Huntsman and it came with the belt pouch so I can swap that around too. Good choices both. Now the only thing to do since you have stepped onto the slippery slope is to shout -

"WWWHHHEEEEEEE!!!!"

The Huntsman was my first 91mm SAK (I already had a Recruit and Classic SD).  I bought it myself at 12 years old.  It was also the first purchase I ever specifically saved up for.  So, I was proud of that knife for multiple reasons.  I don't have that original Huntsman anymore, but I've owned a few of them since then.  I just bought my most recent one last fall with a birthday gift card as it had been a year or two since I'd given away the last one (I have a habit of gifting my SAKs to people in my life).
Yes that's true, but I've been out to sea a long time.

 :D

I came across this old topic by accident and the last post made me laugh, so I reread the whole topic and noticed that a lot of things have changed since 2011, as you may know, I caved for the Spirit ...

(more than once )

Victorinox is more of a Paraphilia than an addiction - only requires treatment if the victim becomes unable to cope with other aspects of life . Kinda like fetishes .

It's nothing like getting strung out on top quality handguns , watches , or high end tools !

Glad to see so much love, support and new converts to the wonderful world of the SAK - and especially the Huntsman.
